How Learning Mobile & Web Development Shaped My Journey in Tech

Learning mobile and web development has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey in computer science. When I first started, the theory in textbooks seemed abstract, and applying it in real projects was challenging. I began exploring mobile app development with Kotlin and React Native, which allowed me to see immediate results from my code.

Building apps like the Flavora recipe app taught me how to structure applications, integrate APIs, manage state, and debug errors efficiently. Each small project strengthened my understanding of core programming concepts and best practices. Web development also played a key role. Working with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, and Elementor, I learned responsive design, layout principles, and styling techniques that made my websites visually appealing and functional across devices.

Through these experiences, I not only honed my technical skills but also developed problem-solving, time management, and critical thinking abilities. I’ve realized that creating something people can interact with is immensely satisfying. My growing interest in cybersecurity and software engineering is now driving me to explore backend systems, security protocols, and advanced software design.

Every project I completed helped me gain practical experience, and I am excited to continue building and learning. My goal is to work on applications that solve real-world problems and contribute to the tech community.
